The Dutch parliament breaks its summer recess for an emergency debate on the situation in Gaza. Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in front of the temporary building of the House of Representatives.
Hundreds of protesters gathered in Utrecht to demonstrate against the war in Gaza. They made a lot of noise with empty pans, whistles and drums. However, the demonstration attracted so many people that the Dutch Railways, in cooperation with the police, was forced to close off part of the gates and divert both passengers and new demonstrators. This led to minor altercations, but the police did not need to intervene.
Pro-Palestinian demonstrations took place at all central stations in the Netherlands. They are protesting against the famine. This was also the case here in The Hague. Hundreds of demonstrators gathered and then marched to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
